I'm 20 years old and currently studying Psychology in the University of Southampton. When I was 16, I was diagnosed with Polysictic Ovaries Syndrome where one of the side effects is that I gain weight quicker than the average female. This has always been an issue for me and my eating habits had done me no better. So when hearing about HIPP I had jumped to the opportunity to join due to it not only helping me with my health but to also give me an insight as to what my condition is about and to help me to overcome it. Making the decision to join HIPP; having the encouragement from the team that I needed to not necessarily lose the weight but to fix my diet, was the right kick I needed to do better!

My eating has changed, buying and eating more grains and fruit. Also cut out cows milk. Noticed no bad stomach pains before periods now. Trying also to add more veg. Also have cut out white bread but noticed the junk that is in brown. The day was very informative. Gave you alot to think about, guest speakers, brilliant, each person giving you real life stories from a different perspective.

My name is Kadejah and I'm 17 years old. I am currently in college and soon I will be going to Bath Spa University to study Human Nutrition, with the hopes of becoming a Sports Nutritionist in the future. I joined HIPP About Health so that I can gain early knowledge about how to maintain my current health and how to live healthily for my future, as well as get a head start before university. I feel that HIPP will keep me Informed about the state of health of my female body and provide me with a natural knowledge that doctors may not be able to so that I can be Proactive in looking after myself.

I was invited to HIPP event by my sister Natasha. I didn't know what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised. The session was an eye opener!! The light bulbs started going off about what I've been doing to my body. Hosea 4: "My people are destroyed for the lack of knowledge " There was a wealth of information, I tailored it specifically to my needs and went away fully loaded. After attending HIPP I've started to detox, changed my thinking and it has had a massive impact on my diet. The women were all in sync, lots of fun and laughter and the presence of God was present on the day.

Since the HIPP about Your Health workshop, I have changed the way I look @/consume breakfast. Within two weeks, my blood test shows my cholesterol has gone down & diabetes is no where in sight! A great help was the Vitl supplements recommended by the HIPP team. The worship & food was great! Location was awesome. All the speakers made a tremendous impact.
The HIPP event was very informative throughout.
  • Atmosphere was very welcoming and the praise worship was very moving.
  • Learnt a lot about health, dietary and common problems women suffer from. Great testimonials of miracles!!!
  • How to avoid health problems and common symptoms for certain (illnesses).
I've made some drastic changes to my diet, such as improving my digest health with what I consume, detoxifying and understanding generally how my body can benefit from healthy food/lifestyle.
